# Send a test event

> **Scope:** `webhooks:manage`

Sends one `webhook.test` event to the endpoint now, signed like any other, and answers how it went: `delivered` and the `response_status` your endpoint gave, or `error` `TIMEOUT` / `UNREACHABLE`. Works on a paused endpoint, to check a fix before reactivating. Never retried, and never counted as a failure. Try it on this page sends nothing.
