# Onboarding

> Six steps. Rampa does two of them; the rest you do with the API.

**1. Kick-off — you**

Send us your company's legal name and a technical contact. While we do the next step, read these docs and try the endpoints in the [API reference](/api-reference/introduction).

**2. Your tenant and API key — Rampa**

We create your tenant, set your pricing margin, and issue a sandbox API key over a secure channel. It is shown once — keep it server-side, never in an app or browser. See [scopes](/authentication#scopes).

**3. Read your top-up address — you**

Your Tron address is created the first time you call [`GET /wallets`](/api-reference/wallet/get-wallet), which returns it in `top_up_addresses` — there is nothing to create. Each transfer you send to it shows up as an `in` row in `GET /wallets/transactions`.

**4. Register your webhook — you**

[`POST /webhooks`](/api-reference/webhooks/create-webhook) with your URL. Store the `secret` from the response; you need it to [verify signatures](/webhooks#verify-the-signature).

**5. Fund your wallet — you**

The sandbox runs on Tron's Shasta testnet, with the sandbox test token (contract `TYR7yDZAns63L8Cmu4EyPPxDgktq9sguvB`) standing in for USDT. Get some in a wallet you control with the [faucet](/api-reference/wallet/faucet), plus a little Shasta TRX for fees from any public Shasta faucet. Then send the tokens from that wallet to your top-up address. Once the transfer confirms on-chain it is credited automatically, and `GET /wallets` shows the credit. The [quick start](/quickstart) has every step.

**6. Your first payment — you**

Get a test QR from [`POST /sandbox/qr-codes`](/api-reference/payouts/sandbox-qr-code), read it, quote it and pay it, following the [quick start](/quickstart). Before you write your error handling, read the [statuses](/payment-flow#statuses) and [failure codes](/webhooks#failure-codes) your app must handle.
